FOUR people are being treated for serious injuries following a crash in Langdon Hills.

Emergency services were called to South Hill at around 12.45pm yesterday following reports of a crash between a white van and a red Volkswagen Golf.

The patients were flown to hospital by air ambulance, where they are being treated for life-changing injuries.

They are believed be in a serious but non life-threatening condition.

Firefighters had to cut three of the patients out of the wreckage of the crash using specialist equipment.

It is believed a woman and child were trapped in the car, and a man was trapped in the van.

The road remained closed into the evening while initial enquiries were carried out.
