Police investigate after thieves steal jewellery and power tools from outbuildings
THIEVES syphoned diesel and stole jewellery and power tools in a burglary in Wickford.
Police are appealing for information about the burglary at a property in Cranfield Park Road.
Thieves broke into several outbuildings which surround the property between July 23 and July 27.
They caused substantial damage and syphoned a large amount of red diesel from a drum. They took jewellery and tools including a power washer and chain saw.
Witnesses or anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area between July 23 and July 27 are asked to contact officers at Basildon CID on 101.
