DETECTIVES investigating the death of a man at a farmhouse in Little Burstead are appealing for a potential witness to contact them.

Officers are continuing to investigate the death of 46-year-old Ricci Gallagher, who died on August 6 having been injured at a house in Sudburys Farm Road a week earlier.

A woman reported driving to work at around 9am on Thursday, July 30, along Blind Lane when she was waved down by a man described as being aged in his 60s.

He was standing next to a white coloured Ford van. He told her that two fire engines had just driven past and the road may be blocked ahead.

Officers are seeking to trace this man as he may have information which could assist the investigation.

Two men, aged 60 and 53, have been rebailed pending further enquiries until November 25.
