Residents across Southend may hear gunfire and explosions next week as the Ministry of Defence has issued a warning.
The MOD has revealed it has activities scheduled to take place on its range in Shoebury from Monday to Friday next week.
Explosions may be heard from Monday to Friday (June 13 to 17), while gunfire could be heard alongside explosions on Tuesday.
The MOD says there will be no more activities than normal next week, but it may noticed by residents.

Experts note weather conditions will determine where and how loud sounds may be noticed off site.
Explosions will take place between 9am and 4pm on Monday and Friday, with activity starting earlier at 8.30am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
However, the MOD warns this is subject to change at short notice.
If members of the public have any concerns about range activity, they can call the freephone Careline on 0800 0560108.
