A BUS route has returned back to its normal service after police closed a major road in Basildon.
First Essex diverted its B4 service this morning following a road closure in Basildon.
According to the firm, police had closed a part of Broadmayne near Mopsies Park.
Services were therefore diverted to Long Riding via the 22 route.
The firm were also unable to serve the Beambridge and Barstable School stops towards Basildon.
However, the road has since re-opened.
In a tweet, First Essex added: "Broadmayne near Mopsies Park is now clear, and services are running their usual routes".
