DRIVERS are facing "severe" delays ahead of rush hour after reports of a crash on the A127.
The major road is blocked at Halfway House in West Horndon, heading towards Southend.
This is due to a crash, according to Essex County Council traffic control alerts.

There are currently long delays from Tilbury Road back to the M25's junction 29, with AA describing delays as "severe".
An average speed of ten miles per hour is being reported.
Essex Police has been contacted for comment.
