Part of Southend seafront and more major south Essex roads are set for roadworks next week.

Here are seven works taking place with drivers warned delays are "likely":

Two-way signals are set to be in place in Western Esplanade for carriageway patching works from 9.30am on Tuesday until 11.59pm on Thursday.

 

The works will be carried out near Cafe Rebecca.


A lane closure will be in place in Royal Artillery Way on Friday from 9.30am until 11.59pm.

This is while Southend Council carries out carriageway patching.

The specific location is 50m from the junction of Bournes Green.

 


Manners Way, near Southend Airport, will be closed from its junction with the A127 to the Harp House Roundabout from 9.30am on Monday.

The closure will be in place until 2.30pm on Friday for tree pruning and maintenance work.

London Road, Rayleigh, is set to have multi-way signals on Thursday and Friday next week.

This is while Essex County Council undertakes bollard work.

The works will be near the BP garage.


A lane closure will be in place in High Road, Laindon, near the Laindon Centre homes development from Wednesday.

This is while works are being undertaken on the highway until next Wednesday, May 8.


A lane closure will also be in place at Sadlers Farm Roundabout on Thursday (May 2) while Essex Highways carries out improvement works.

The closure will just be in place for the day.


The A130 will see a lane closure in place after Sadlers Farm on Tuesday and Wednesday.

This is while Essex Highways is undertaking works to the vehicle restraint system at this location.
