A GROUP of die-hard Southend United fans will be hoping to outcheer their Crewe counterparts on Soccer AM tomorrow.
Chris Nice, 34, Paul Harrison, 34, Lawrence Austin, 34, and Mark Corney, 35, will be on the Sky1 television show this weekend after they saw the show advertising for fans of the two clubs.
Mark, who toured all 92 grounds in the football league in 2009, said he is looking forward to the banter with the Crewe fans and taking part in the car park ‘Champions League challenge’ where the fans face off against each other to see who can kick the ball through a hole the most times in a time period.
Mark, 35, said: “It should be a good laugh. We are all good friends and have been season-tickets holders for a while. We can’t wait to go up to Wembley but this will really make a weekend out of it. It will be a good chance to get one over on Crewe before the match.”
Former Manchester United and Denmark goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel is one of the guests on this week’s show - which can be seen from 10am tomorrow (saturday) on Sky1.
