AT the tender age of 15, Thundersley’s karate kid Samuel Campbell took his second dan grading in Egham and passed with flying colours. He was put through his paces by chairman of the Karate Union of Great Britain, sensei Andy Sherry ninth dan, assisted by sensei Bob Rhodes eighth dan.
Campbell is now one of the youngest Stock Karate club members to have passed this grade.
Instructor Adam Purkiss said everyone at the Stock Shokotan Karate Club was very proud of his achievement. The club train every Monday, Tuesday and Thurs-day evening at St Michael’s Church Hall in Thundersley. For more details contact Ann on 01702 557874 or visit www.stockskc.co.uk
