Kingstonian 2-2 Billericay Town
From Kingsmeadow
Ryman Premier
BILLERICAY Town salvaged a point after going two goals behind to Kingstonian on their travels.
Craig Edwards handed a league debut to on-loan Millwall Town full-back Dylan Casey and he was in the heart of the action, netting the goal that drew Town level.
But it was a terrible start for Billericay, as they bid to take their first league points since the first week of September, as they conceded after only five minutes.
Nathaniel Pinney was on the mark to put the hosts ahead and Ghanaian international Elvis Hammond broke past the final defender to double the advantage but Billericay hit back.
And it came through Ryan Scott, who had been an injury doubt before the match. The centre-back headed in well at the near post after a terrific corner from Cyrus Mahler.
And Scott was involved shortly afterwards, when he was caught by Tommy Kavanagh leading to the midfielder being sent off.
The visitors pushed on but didn’t break through until shortly after the break. A tremendous burst from Roman Michael-Percil down the right saw the ball wind up with Casey and he made sure from close range.
Town pressed for the elusive winner, with Ricky Sappleton crashing a late free-kick off the crossbar before Mahler was sent off for two yellow cards.
