CONCORD Rangers have signed Bishop's Stortford goalkeeper Joe Wright ahead of tomorrow's FA Cup decider against St Albans City.

Wright will go straight into the team to cover for the injured Aaron Lennox, the on-loan Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper who broke his finger in training, and Jamie Butler, who is a long-term absentee after damaging his knee earlier in the season.

Wright was a regular in the Stortford side that did so well last season, making 46 appearances and helping his side to the First Round Proper of the FA Cup, where they were edged out 2-1 by League Two Northampton Town.

Wright, who has joined on an initial short-term deal, starred in that match and will be hoping to help his new side make the first round in similar fashion tomorrow.

Beachboys manager Danny Cowley thanked their Conference South rivals for allowing the deal to go through ahead of the match, adding he was 'really pleased' to add Wright to his ranks.

Wright has already played against St Albans City this season for Bishop's Stortford but will be hoping for a better day between the posts - as two errors handed St Albans the points.
