THE PREVIEW: Two of the league’s in-form teams meet tomorrow as Town head to south west London.

Billericay, who were loitering near the relegation places only a fortnight ago, have bounced back with three straight wins before they were beaten by Staines last weekend.

Kingstonian are unbeaten in the last six league games, winning five including an impressive 3-1 success at Grays last Friday.

It could also be the first time Billericay come face-to-face with striker Ricky Sappleton, who left the club for the K’s in the summer.

However, Town have since found another talisman in the shape of Mike Fondop.

The forward has scored six times in the last four games, signing a deal until the end of the season this week, but will have a task getting past the defence that has conceded the second fewest goals in the division.

WHAT HE SAYS: Town boss Craig Edwards said: “We were so unlucky against Staines last weekend and we were naive in the way we conceded the late goal. But the team had just equalised and was looking for a win and I can’t criticise that.

“We are scoring plenty of goals. Our last four games have seen 21 goals and if we can tighten up at the back then we will cause any team a problem.

“Kingstonian are top of the form guide and are a very good side. They have plenty of players that can score goals and so do we so it is destined to be a 0-0 draw. We will need to play well at the back but we are going there to win. I don’t think we could go there and play for a point, which wouldn’t be a bad result I suppose.

"It is a challenge leaving anyone out at the moment as we have such a strong squad. When Rambo (Kevin Ramsay – assistant manager) and Alex (Fiddes – first team coach) pick a side with me we nearly always have different teams which says a lot about the strength we have.”
