HULLBRIDGE Sports and Southend Manor ended their season with victories to put recent disappointments to bed.
Sports were 3-2 winners at home against Tower Hamlets, as goals from Charlie Little and a brace from Luke Hornsley put them in charge.
Tower Hamlets had taken a third minute lead only for Sports to hit back with two goals late in the half. Hornsley and Little struck in two minutes to reverse the score line at the break.
Hornsley added a third five minutes into the second half and, despite conceding a second, Rob Hodgson’s men held on for the win.
Southend Manor thumped Greenhouse Sports 7-0 to end the season in style.
A hat-trick from Christy O’Donoghue, plus strikes from Eamon Payne, Micky Hopkins, Michael Bottone and Sam Short ensured Manor finished the season in 15th.
