RUNDOWN: Canvey Island will be looking for a change in luck when they visit Dulwich Hamlet today.
The Gulls’ match at Needham Market was abandoned at half-time on Tuesday after a floodlight failure, with Canvey 2-1 up at the time.
Manager Danny Heale was frustrated as it leaves Canvey playing catch-up ahead of a tough-looking doubler-header this weekend.
MANAGER'S VIEW: Gulls manager Danny Heale: “I have been really impressed with the group and the new additions. We have started the season brightly in my opinion.
“The late goals we are conceding I put down to things not going for us as opposed to bad defending but we need to pick up from last Saturday and the disappointment of Tuesday’s abandonment at Needham Market.
“Dulwich will be one of the tough teams and frontrunners but we need to stand up and make sure we are at the races.
“We look forward to playing in front of a big crowd and we all want to do well.”
BETTING: Dulwich 4/6, Canvey 16/5
TEAM NEWS: Ashley Dumas doubtful, Tony Stokes returns.
