LOUIS Rawley secured two titles at the Leigh & Westcliff LTA winter finals day.
Rawley, who plays at Rayleigh Lawn, beat Hadleigh Park’s Lewis Belcher 6-4 6-2 in the men’s singles final before teaming up with James McCarthy to also win the doubles.
Rawley and McCarthy beat Graham Boosey and Will Bailes 6-1,6-1 in the doubles finals.
And James Driscoll, chairman of Leigh & Westcliff Lawn Tennis, was delighted with how the day went.
He said: “Despite the rain trying its best to delay play the players did fantastically well to get six out of the nine matches completed.
“The standard of play is getting better each season and with exciting changes and new competitions on the way the Leigh & Westcliff LTA has a bright future.
“I’d like to thank Kent Elms and their members for being wonderful hosts on the day too.”
