FREE music events are returning to Priory Park's historic bandstand this bank holiday weekend.
The Southend landmark will be brought to life with talented bands and musicians as the annual season of Music in the Park is back from Saturday.
This free event runs every weekend and bank holiday Monday until Sunday, September 29 at the park in Victoria Avenue.
This weekend’s performers will be Melvin Beddow Big Band on Saturday, Essex Concert Band on Sunday and Waterside Choir on the May Day bank holiday.
All performances are will run from 3pm to 4.30pm.
A Visit Southend spokesman said: "The ever popular Music in the Park returns to Priory Park bandstand for 2024. The bandstand will come alive with top local bands and musicians, don’t miss out!
"No chairs will be provided so please bring your own or a blanket. There is also limited parking at the park so where possible use public transport, walk or cycle.
"Performances can be cancelled at short notice in the event of bad weather or illness."
